Dominik
Ledergerber
Senior Advisor, Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs
Dominik Ledergerber holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Governance from the University of St. Gallen. He is currently a senior advisor in the Free Trade Agreements/EFTA division at Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, SECO. After representing Switzerland at the multilateral level (ILO, UN) in discussions on international labour affairs and business and human rights, he has recently focused on negotiating and implementing preferential trade agreements, first at the Secretariat of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and now in his current function at SECO. In this context, he has worked on trade in services, investment, and trade and sustainable development.
Julie Raneda
Partner, Schellenberg Wittmer Pte Ltd
Julie Raneda is a partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's international arbitration practice in Singapore. She represents clients in international commercial and investor-state arbitrations.
Julie has been involved as counsel in complex arbitrations seated in civil and common law jurisdictions and also acts as an arbitrator. Her main areas of expertise include construction and engineering, energy, pharmaceutical/life sciences, manufacturing and international sales. She also advises clients in relation to trade sanctions.
After completing a degree in international relations at the Graduate Institute Geneva, Julie graduated with a law degree from the University of Geneva. Julie was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 2011 and to the Singapore bar in 2016 (foreign lawyer). She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
Julie is the chair of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) South East Asia Chapter and the co-chair of the IPBA Next Generation Committee. Julie is AIJA's National Representative in Singapore and a co-founder of the Women's Business Society established in Geneva in 2012.
Manfred Rist
Lecturer, Royal University of Phnom Penh
Manfred Rist, a former Chairman of the Swiss Business Association in Singapore, has been covering European and Asian affairs for Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) from Bruxelles, Zurich, Paris, and Singapore. He was a lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS) until 2019 and currently teaches at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Department of Media & Communications. He lives in Cambodia and Singapore.
