European Business in China: Business Confidence Survey 2025

The SwissCham in partnership with European Chamber of Commerce, Roland Berger, CCI FRANCE CHINE and Benelux Chamber of commerce, cordially invites you to attend the European Business in China – Business Confidence Survey 2025.

Mr. Bruno WEILL and Mr. Christophe LAURAS will present the key findings of this year's Business Confidence Survey 2025by European Chamber of Commerce,as well as some insights from the "Made in China 2025" report and of the Flash Survey on the US-China Trade War.

Business confidence in China has further weakened due to economic slowdown, deflation, "involution", trade and geopolitics uncertainties, etc. To a large extent, these issues are common with Chinese companies. However, many foreign firms are also impacted by additional constraints and persistent market barriers, especially in sectors linked to the "Made in China 2025" strategy. European companies are adapting their strategies, business and operation models, supply chain, etc. to this "new normal", while the Chinese Government repeatedly signaled its intent to improve the business environment.

In response to the active engagement of the Chinese Authorities with the international / European business community, the European Chamber of Commerce is proposing ways to reinvigorate the China market attractiveness for foreign companies. In parallel, the EUCCC has a close dialogue with the EU on how to constructively engage with China and establish a more fruitful and sustainable economic relationship.

Bruno WEILL 先生与 Christophe LAURAS 先生将共同发布本年度由欧盟商会主导的《2025年企业信心调查》主要成果，并分享《2025中国制造》报告的部分见解，以及中美贸易战快闪调查的相关内容。

随着经济放缓、通缩、"内卷"、贸易与地缘政治不确定性等多重因素影响，中国的商业信心持续减弱。在很大程度上，这些问题也同样影响中国本土企业。然而，许多外资企业还面临额外的限制和持续存在的市场壁垒，尤其是在与"中国制造2025"战略相关的行业中尤为突出。面对这种"新常态"，欧洲企业正不断调整其战略、商业与运营模式、供应链等方面，以适应变化。同时，中国政府也多次表示愿意优化营商环境。

作为对中国政府积极与国际/欧洲企业界沟通的回应，欧盟商会提出了一系列建议，旨在增强中国市场对外国企业的吸引力。与此同时，商会也与欧盟保持密切沟通，共同探讨与中国建立更加建设性、可持续的经济关系的路径。
