Dear members and friends of SwissCham China,

On September 22, 2026, the German Chamber and the SwissChina China will co-host an Executive Exchange Tour to Trolli Guangzhou Confectionery Co., Ltd., the Chinese production base of the famous German candy brand Trolli. The visit will be followed by a themed roundtable discussion on Localization Strategies of Foreign Companies in China.

Founded in 1948 in Fuerth, Germany, Mederer Group is one of the world's leading gummy candy manufacturers, with its flagship brand Trolli marketed to more than 30 countries worldwide. Deeply rooted in the Chinese market for 26 years, the company has achieved great success in China through a set of localized strategies: continuous product innovation, locally tailored flavor formulas, targeted outreach to Generation Z, fully developed e-commerce and O2O sales channels, etc. Its iconic mini burger and cola bottle gummies are household favorites nationwide, sold at over 130,000 retail outlets across China's 30 provinces.

During this tour, we will visit Trolli's production base in Panyu, Guangzhou, including its third production line commissioned in early 2026. At the roundtable discussion, the company's senior management will share insights on their marketing approaches and product innovation experience, and exchange views on localization strategies for foreign enterprises with the participating companies. Corporate executives are welcome to join us to exchange industry insights, expand business networks and explore cooperation opportunities.
