Pinghu Fact Finding Trip – Localization Insights & Factory Tour at Autoneum and Great Wall Vehicles

In the face of rising local competition and market saturation, foreign companies must sustainably differentiate themselves in terms of product and service offerings to achieve operational agility and speed-to-market. Long-term positioning and value creation in such environments require strategic adaptation and deeper integration into local ecosystems.

To help address these concerns, SwissCham Shanghai, in partnership with Pinghu Economic Development Zone as well as the local foreign-invested enterprise association, cordially invites you to an exclusive event taking place on Friday, September 12th in Pinghu.

The event brings together industry experts and company leaders to explore how companies are navigating competitive markets through localization, innovation, and operational agility. Among the speakers, a professor from Shanghai Tech University will share insights on the application of AI in new energy cars, industrial design and application, and infrastructure applications. A representative from UBS will also provide a forward-looking perspective for the vehicle industry or manufacturing industry.

In addition to expert-led discussions, the program includes site visits to two leading enterprises — Autoneum, a global market and technology leader in acoustic and thermal management solutions for vehicles and a partner for light vehicle manufacturers around the world; and Great Wall Vehicle, a global intelligent technology company that covers the entire automotive value chain and owns a portfolio of brands.
